Red Wine, Coffee, Sun And Beer Can Be Good For You?
Red wine, coffee, beer and sunlight is not as bad as you think. Here's why..
Red Wine -
Red grapes and red wine both contain resveratrol, which may reduce the risk of heart disease.
How Much?
The good news is that according to research, a person who drinks just one or two glasses of wine a day actually has a longer life expectancy than a teetotaller.
Coffee -
Caffeine is often linked with high blood pressure, but no connection has been estabilished between coffee and heart disease. Some studies have found that coffee drinkers are less likely to develope Alzheimer's disease. How much?
Limit your caffeine if you have high blood pressure; otherwise, have a cup or two a day.
Sunlight -
It's no secret that excessive exposure can cause skin cancer, but research has found that the vitamin D in sunlight may reduce the risk of other cancers. It also stimulates the production of tryptamines in our brain, which make us happier.
How much?
Ten minutes a day in the sun will give you sufficient vitamin D.
Beer -
Beer contains silicon, which is great for bone health. Moderate beer intake can reduce the risk of heart disease, gallstones and late-onset diabetes.
How much?
A bitter with a high malt content will have more silicon than lager. As with wine, one or two glasses a day is ideal to maximise the health benefits.
