Glucosamine And Chrondrotin Sulphate With Msm

Glucosamine is needed by the body to manufacture specialised molecules called ‘glycosaminoglycans’ (GAGs), which are important for the development of cartilage, bone, tendons, ligaments, nails, hair and skin. It is used to help relieve joint pain and protect against long-term degeneration of the joints by helping to stimulate the growth of cartilage (the gel-like material that cushions joints).

Chondroitin Sulphate is a natural compound found in joints, although in degenerative diseases such as osteoarthritis its presence diminishes as cartilage erodes. It is thought to block the enzymes that can destroy cartilage tissue as well as promote water-retention in the cartilage found in joints, thereby making it more elastic. Research has shown that supplementing your diet with Chondroitin Sulphate may promote joint-healing, relieve symptoms and possibly slow the progression of osteoarthritis.

MSM (MethylSulfonylMethane) As a form of organic sulphuris believed to aid arthritic joints, which studies have shown to have lower sulphur levels than healthy joints. It may also help to maintain and repair cartilage, the gel like substance that cushions the joints and that is a key ingredient of connective tissue. It’s natural analgesic (pain-killing) and anti-inflammatory properties further explain its use for combating the symptoms of arthritis.

Vitamin C: The health benefits of Vitamin C are manifold and although it is most commonly known as an immunity booster and powerful antioxidant, it is also crucial for the formation of collagen (the structural protein that holds joints together) and thus plays a key role in keeping ligaments and tendons strong and healthy. With Vitamin C being a water soluble nutrient the Chondroitin absorbs it, therefore placing it within the joints where it is needed most

The Benefits Of Glucosamine

  • Stimulates cartilage growth.
  • May significantly relieve arthritic pain.
  • Glucosamine sulphate plays an important part in the production of tissue structure.
  • Glucosamine sulphate can help cartilage, tendons and ligaments.
  • Glucosamine sulphate can ease the pain and stiffness associated with arthritis.
  • Glucosamine sulphate can speed up the bodies healing process.
  • Glucosamine sulphate can increase the bodies ability to provide vital nutrients used in replacing worn out cells and tissues

The Benefits Of Chondroitin

  • May increase joint mobility and slow cartilage loss.
  • Encourages water retention and elasticity in cartilage.
  • Inhibits the enzymes that break down cartilage.
  • May help to relieve osteoarthritis pain as a result.

The Benefits Of MSM

MSM may be beneficial in relieving arthritic and joint discomfort as it provides a flexible bond between proteins for your joints, tendons and cartilage.

  • MSM is thought to be benificial for improving skin, hair and nails.
  • MSM may help to increasing intestinal health, which can support conditions such as constipation, diarrhoea, and over acidity.
  • Due to its ability to regulate cell function it has also shown to be useful in the treatment of food allergies.
